the Multitasker Knitting Pattern
With a pull of the cord or a fold of the fabric, this piece can be used in 5 different ways. Pull the cord tight for a slouchy hat, fold the brim for a beanie, open the cord back up and fold the back third down over the brim for a headband worn over or under your hair, up or down. And while your hair is up, unfold everything and push it up, beanie style, with the cord tightened around your bun. So many ways...can you find more?
This original pattern by Emily Thompson makes a one size fits most convertible hat/cowl, available in a child or an adult size. The Bernat Velvet yarn used for this piece makes it so soft and versatile and the pattern is easy enough for a beginner.
Love the hat but don't knit? Then you're in luck because you can order your own piece here that is finished and shipped in 1-2 weeks. The color choices are endless!
