This one-of-a-kind wheel-thrown mug features a soft cream glaze layered with flowing shades of blue, burgundy and lavender. As the glazes melted together in the kiln, they created organic drips and feathery transitions reminiscent of watercolor paint.
The gently flared form has a comfortable rounded handle and subtle throwing lines that preserve the character of the making process. Because the glaze develops naturally during firing, the pattern wraps around the mug differently on every side—making this piece truly one of a kind.
